Paul Chinelli - The Artist
From
his youth, he possessed an intense passion for both
art and wildlife.
Born
in New York City, in 1949, he vividly remembers
moving to the then rural northeast Bronx, a major
wetlands area 40 years ago.
Trained
in classical fine art techniques, his work
brings together his love for hunting and fishing with
that of drawing and painting. He has designed over
125 postal stamps for 10 foreign countries.
Currently specializing in commissioned life-sized portraits of sporting
dogs and horses, he now lives with his family in Columbia county and works
from a studio overlooking the
Catskill Mountains.
